If you have had flooding or moisture intrusion in your home or business you should be testing for mold. Testing will let you know whether you have an infestation, what types of molds are present and the amount of each type of mold.
Sampling Only:
We can take air or surface samples for a cost of $75 each.
When taking air samples we must do at least two for comparison.
Any sampling done is sent to an accredited lab where we receive a comprehensive, detailed report that we will gladly go over with you.
A Complete Mould Inspection includes the non invasive, visual inspection of readily accessible components of the building including:
- Roof
- Exterior and Grounds
- Basement, Foundation and Crawlspace
- Heating, Cooling and Ventilation
- Plumbing
- Attic
- Interior (walls, ceiling, floors)
- Moisture, Humidity and Temperature
- All Complete Mould Inspections include an examination of the building with the Infrared Camera
The inspector shall report:
- Moisture intrusion
- Water damage
- Musty odours
- Apparent mould growth
- Conditions conducive to mould growth
- Results of laboratory testing of any samples taken
- Any system or component of the building that was not inspected and the reason they were not inspected.
A Limited Mould Inspection does not include the entire building but a specific area of the building agreed to between the client and our inspector. As a result of a limited inspection, water damage, moisture intrusion, musty odours, apparent mould growth and conditions conducive to mould growth in other areas of the building may not be inspected.
A Limited Inspection includes the non invasive, visual examination of the readily accessible components of the room or limited area agreed upon.
- All Limited Mould Inspections include an examination of the room or area with the Infrared Camera.
The inspector shall report:
- Moisture intrusion
- Water damage
- Musty odours
- Apparent mould growth
- Conditions conducive to mould growth
- Results of laboratory testing of the samples taken
Thermal Imaging
As certified Building Science Thermographers we are able to use the Infrared Camera to find problems with moisture intrusion and plumbing issues.
Complete Mould Inspection:
Up to 3000sq/ft $550
Up to 3 samples included.
Add $100 for every additional 1000sq/ft.
Limited Mould Inspection:
$275-up to 3 samples included.
Additional samples are $75 each.
